About the Course...
All five of the exhibiting photographers in this show have been studying on the C&G Levels 2 & 3 Courses in Digital Photography, at Wells-next-the-Sea, north Norfolk, with tutor Julia Rafferty.
These consecutive courses are run by Wensum Lodge in Norwich as part of adult education (now rebranded Norfolk Comminuty Learning Services).
The full three year arts course encompasses all aspects of digital photography introducing students to a wide range of technical skills. The group has studied the application of photograpy in a wide range of creative modules including: abstract photography, landscape photography, black and white photography, portraiture, still life and typography. The course also covers post production and colour management.
The group have developed a wide range of websites, photobooks and blogs as part of their course, as well as creating work on canvas, acrylic, metal and speciality papers.
